My background is in energy efficiency retrofit, with over 20 years in construction. I work with social landlords and main contractors on how to improve homes, prioritise investment and plan programmes that teams can deliver.
I help shape planned works programmes by using property data to connect investment priorities with the practical work of mobilisation and delivery.
As founder of Eketra™, I apply my construction and housing experience to AI and automation: connecting information, reducing repeated administration and helping teams find and use the records they hold.
As Group Director of Strategy and Innovation at Energy Specifics Group, I work across retrofit consultancy, design and installation. Through Design Specifics’ PowerAsset service, I bring together energy performance, housing condition and investment information to help landlords plan retrofit and wider planned works together.
I look beyond individual properties to the wider street and community: how housing condition, energy performance, planned works and place relate to one another.
My career has taken me across several countries, giving me experience of different people, places and ways of working.
I thrive under pressure. As a parent of twins, I get plenty of practice. It’s a daily lesson in adaptability, patience and keeping a sense of humour.

I founded Eketra™ to apply AI and automation to the information problems I see in construction and housing: records spread across systems, repeated administration and time spent finding the right evidence.
The starting point is project evidence. Teams need to understand what information is present, what is missing and what needs checking across documents, folders and systems.
The wider aim is to develop AI agents, connected workflows and business automation that make information easier to use and reduce the steps teams repeat between systems.

I have supported more than 52 social housing decarbonisation schemes, alongside the creation, mobilisation and delivery of planned works programmes through data.
My work has contributed to improving the homes of around 20,000 families, helping create healthier, warmer places to live.
Property information informs decisions about homes, the people living in them and the work needed to improve them.
Through PowerAsset, I bring together property, energy, condition and investment data to help landlords understand their housing stock and plan retrofit alongside wider planned works.
That experience shapes how I approach technology. I start with the work teams need to do, the evidence available and the people affected by the decisions.

My work in AI and automation draws on my experience in construction, retrofit and planned works. I focus on connecting information, reducing repeated administration and helping teams find, check and use project evidence.
I work on the practical design and implementation of AI and automation, starting with the process, identifying where it can help and supporting the teams using it.
Useful systems help people find what they need and see what requires attention, leaving more time for work that benefits residents.
The technology needs to fit the people and processes involved. Finding a document is different from knowing whether it is the right evidence.

My wider contribution includes talks at schools and universities, community engagement and pro bono work for social landlords and devolved regional bodies.
Alongside day-to-day delivery, I share knowledge and give time to help others understand and plan housing investment.
What matters to me is what changes for residents: warmer homes, lower energy use and better use of the money available to improve housing.
I look at what changed, who benefited and how the people involved contributed to the result.
